15 ways to help you have a better midterm week

We all know the feeling of having a week filled with projects, papers, and exams. It can get really overwhelming and stressful. Although the key to being successful during these times is taking breaks in order to be mentally ready to keep working on them. During these breaks for me I tend to prefer to do things that will not lead me to get distracted and not want to get back on the working environment.

Here are a few memes to relate and laugh about lol:

Gettin back on track lol, here are a few that work for me and maybe can work for you:

  • Drop everything and go for a SWIM!! I love grabbing my towel and going to the beach just to breathe some fresh air and listen to the waves crush. It’s the best time for me to zone out and be connected with myself.
  • Make something that you love. Such as cookies, pasta, oatmeal, rice crispy treats, etc. Honestly anything that with one bite will make you feel better. I LOVE making the pillsbury cookies especially the festive ones, and when they are a lil raw omg to die for.
  • Drive somewhere to either just go get inspiration or buy something you need. Taking a break and getting something done from your to do list is the best because you feel like you were productive in your break.
  • Go for a ride in your car by yourself and play some good music and sing the loudest you can. The best feeling in the world.
  • Meet up with a friend and just talk about whatever is in your mind to get it off. This will take your mind off work and gain some happiness from being with someone you love.
  • Go see puppies, I am a dog lover. So going to a puppy shop is a thing I love doing especially since I don’t have a dog at school.
  • Take a bath with all the essentials. This will help sm.
  • Just lay on your bed with a candle on and journal. I love writing down what I am manifesting for the day on my journal. It helps me mentally and I love visually seeing the things come to life.
  • Watch one episode of something you love watching, but promise yourself you will only watch one haha (ik it is very hard)
  • Clean your room!!!
  • Do some face masks with good music. This will not only be self care but also fun!
  • Work on a personal project that you haven’t had the time to start
  • Go on Pinterest and look for inspiration for your house/room
  • Watch ted talks! I love watching ted talks and getting inspired from their story
  • Go watch the sunset. After all the hard-work, watching the sunset hits different

Those are only a few that I love, but just do what you feel like doing!!

I hope this helps ❤
