Home made eye mask

Nothing like having something under my eyes that soothes me and cools me down. I love a good eye mask, and especially if I am getting ready for something or just had a long day. There is just something about that coolness that the masks give to our face. Although that addiction can be a little pricey, so I found a recipe that not only is easy to make, but has the same feeling as those $60 dollar eye masks I love.

The bags under my eyes are from marlate

Rose water and cucumber eye masks:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cucumber
  • As much rose water as you want ( 1 ounce)
  • 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • Cotton rounds ( the circular cotton pads)

Instructions:

  1. Add cucumber, rose water, and coconut oil to blender and blend till smooth
  2. Transfer mixture into a bowl and set a side
  3. Cut the cotton rounds in a crescent moon shape (under eye mask shape)
  4. Drop the cotton pads in the bowl and let them soak the product ( remove excess and repeat the process three times)
  5. Grab a container and store like the store bought ones in the fridge
  6. Say bye to your eye bags and hello to that glowing face

I hope this saves you money and eye bags LOL

Xoxo,

Mar
