The face behind Marlate (Mar)

I asked people to give me questions, and here they are. Get to know me a little bit better.

Where are you from?

I am half Guatemalan half Uruguayan

How old are you?

I am 19 years old

Where have you lived?

Guatemala, Miami, Orlando, Spain, Boca Raton

What is your major?

Marketing with a minor in pr and advertising

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to be a real estate broker/development and to grow Marlate into a platform in which is a place for everything a girl needs (bigger than it is rn)

What made you chase your dream?

I often found myself day dreaming about what I love, and I have always been a person that has so many things in mind but I knew this one had potential.

Where do yourself in 5 years?

I hopefully see myself having a pr and marketing firm with my real estate license. Also Marlate being world wide known and collaborating with different people to create a place that every girl can find everything they need to. Hopefully have my secret project loved by every girl.

What other projects are you working on?

I am working on something that I love and always have been obsessed with. It is something that I wanted to create to share with others to feel that love too. Can’t wait for it to come alive. Also working on my baby Marlate haha.

What is your favorite thing to do?

Either a day at the beach and going to dinner after. A wine night with my friends. A day at the mall with my mom and her sisters. Ugh everything.

What is your go to daily outfit?

My go to outfit is either loose pants with a blazer-leather jacket, a maxi dress with a leather jacket, or yoga set 

If you could live anywhere for year, where would you?

I would either live in Paris or London

How do you describe yourself in 6 words?

Impulsive, obsessive, creative, caring, hustler, sassy

What is your favorite food?

I love pasta, sushi, and kale (love chocolate and creme brûlée)

What does a day to day look like with you?

Currently I wake up at 7:30-8 work on Marlate till like 10:30-11 do a workout then go to class come back to my apartment to have lunch then class again and varies what I do after.

What is your go to hair look?

I mostly 90% of the time have my hair in a bun.

What is your go to nail look?

I have always been a neutral nail color but recently have been getting sparkly colors lol

What is your pet peeve?

When you tell someone something good that is happening to you or that you are doing and you notice their change of attitude and jealousy UGH hate it.

What is something people think about you that is true?

I have been told I have a resting bitch face, but I swear I am nice haha. Also that I am picky with my friends, I am but just because I don’t believe in surrounding yourself with people that are just there to be not to care.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

 My family, every single person has something I look up to. They are all amazing creative people who have accomplished so much.

What do you want your platform to evolve into?

I want Marlate to be a platform that every girl can turn to for everything. Become a virtual best friend to help you with any question about anything. Hopefully shop in the page too.
