FOMO is LAME
FYI: FOMO comes from a feeling of unhappiness. It is something that you should say bye to and be grateful on where you are and what you are doing. Start thinking why you are not happy with your life and why you always want what others are doing. Babe, you are feeling disconnected with your own life journey and you have to realize that whatever your doing is awesome. Just except thinking that others life is better than yours.
Obviously there are times in which you see others in your favorite place with people you want to be with. Although instead of feeling FOMO and unhappy that you are not there, feel happy for others and that will bring you joy. By feeling happy and excited for others to be having a good time is one of the things that will simply bring you joy and positivity into your life.
In order to leave this FOMO feeling behind, you have to reflect on what is causing that unhappiness in your life. What is making you feel like what you are living is not enough. Figure out a way to connect to your life and realize how that feeling is affecting you and what is your plan to stop it.
Leave it behind babe

- Sometimes there are cool things happening that you are not there. You have to accept that it is okay to not be everywhere every time. Admit that you are not there, but realize that you are in your own life journey that you are meant to be. Sometimes being at home in bed is a better option than being out. Be happy for others, but specially be happy where you are. It will be hard but you got it.
2. Social media might be an issue, specially if you can see what others are doing 24/7. You have to remember that not because it looks awesome the person is 100% okay. Social media is where people share their highlights of their life. So, if this is a constant issue that affects you, simply delete it for a while till you find peace or don’t use it when you are feeling ”FOMO”.
3. Change your focus: Instead of focusing on what you are missing or how you are not in the place you wish you were, start counting your blessings. Start noticing what you have and how blessed you are. Start appreciating those little things that make up your happiness.
4. Start seeking connections that bring you joy and happiness, that are pure and simply genuine. Especially if you are feeling down and sad, a good real friend will always make you happy. Have a real one on one conversation, and notice how that moment is way more valuable than being out drinking.
5. Focus on gratitude, on how you see life. Journal about it, reflect about it, and simply learn new things about yourself that you did not know before. Also tell others how grateful you are for them and spread love. It will fill you up with happiness.
Leave that fomo behind babe, you are doing cooler things than you think.
Xoxo,
Mar
