Hacks to get wavy hair with no heat

Heatless waves? Save time? YES.

Sometimes we simply want to get pretty natural waves without the hassle. I tend to use curling irons less during summer simply because it is too hot and whenever I do my hair I sweat like crazy. Also because who doesn’t love multitasking while our hair is getting all pretty. I am going to share 3 ways to get waves without having to take 30 minutes of your day to achieve the ”wave” look.

Braids

The most common way to achieve waves is doing braids. Although the way that it really works for me is when my hair is kind of damp and I apply some oil to lock in the moisture, which for me also locks the style. Depending on what kind of waves I want, I typically do two braids for more tight braids or only one for loose waves. If you want your waves to start at the top then do a french braid. And boom, after around 40 min you got yourself a new look.

Twist your hair

This way reminds me of my childhood hairstyle. You start by sectioning your front pieces and twisting them to get a half pony. The do the same for the remainding hair but instead of putting it into a pony, do a bun with them connecting in the back. Wait for around 40 min or till dry. Remove slightly and boom some nice waves/curls. This style makes your hair more curly rather than wavy,

Bun your hair up

This is easy. You can part your hair however you want to and make sure it is untangled. Do a perfect twist bun, preferably low bun. And it leaves such a pretty hair curl. Although be careful if you don’t brush before because then the curls wont be pretty.

TIP: MAKE SURE YOU UNTANGLE YOUR HAIR AND ADD OIL BEFORE!
