
Give yourself some love
Sometimes we are simply in a routine that we tend to forget how sometimes getting out of it and taking time for yourself is a priority. We can get easily burned out or simply find ourselves not in our best mood. This is a sign for you to sleep in for a little longer, take a bath, journal, or simply do what you love. It is okay to want alone time, it is something to not be ashamed of. Going for walks alone, cooking alone, reading alone, and simply doing things alone and enjoying it is a gift. Prioritize alone time:
- Learn to say no to plans and things that you genuinely don’t want to do
- Set boundaries with people so they learn how to respect your time and your decisions
- Organize your day and prep ahead so you pick a day to have your alone time
- Try something new that maybe can become your new favorite solo activity
- Take some time off social media and use that to focus on areas in your life that you want to work on
- Spoil yourself with some self-care goodies such as face masks and bath salts
- Create a playlist of podcasts you want to listen to, so your car ride or alone time can grow
- Cook your favorite meal and watch a movie
- Try a yoga or pilates class at home
- Plan a self date before hand and take yourself somewhere new
