What to do when you are not feeling confident or your best self

Remind yourself who you are!

Have you not been feeling your best self? Meaning to not feeling like the baddie you are or simply your confidence it’s not over the roof? I feel you and I want you to know that it’s normal. Every day is a new roller coaster ride on and you don’t know where it’s gonna take you and how you gonna end up feeling. Well that is kind of how your emotions work on the daily. Even if you’re a stable person there is still some things that trigger our emotions in our confidence I just lead us to not feeling our best self. That is why you have to know how to identify when this is happening otherwise you’re gonna reach the deep end and it’s gonna be hard to get out of there.

You might ask how do I feel my best again? What do I do to get my self-confidence? Why do I feel like I’m not the best? What this is when you have to know what makes you yourself and what makes you unique. You can’t get into the cycle of comparing yourself to others, or letting others opinions hurt you. Instead of hurting yourself with words and fake scenarios try these things.

Oh my babe I want you to know you are everything

Start a habit of doing daily affirmations about yourself, meaning start with an “I am” sentence and add something beautiful and unique about yourself. It does not have to be something about your body specifically but it can be a trait you have.

Do things that remind you who your true self is and that bring joy

Listen to music that makes you feel the most confidence about yourself

Listen to a podcast that maybe helps you learn something new about yourself or this process

Do a self care day in which you take care of yourself

Light a candle and watch your favorite movie/show

Get ready and all dolled up and take yourself to do something alone or with friends

Go shop some new things that make you feel your best

Cook a comfort meal that you love with loved ones or your favorite show

Stop comparing and start using that time to remind yourself who you are

Simply don’t let yourself fall into the rabbit hole because it will be hard to get out of there, you are amazing and beautiful babe!
