When it comes to my to do’s im a little obsessive

I know a lot of people think that when it comes to checking of your to do’s they all have to be done individually. Although through out these past few months I have learned how to master them whenever I have many things to do. If you don’t organize yourself, these simply tasks will drive you crazy and will lead you to becoming too obsessive that will drive you NUTS.

I am the type of person that if I don’t finish my to do’s by the end of the day the guilt will kill me and I will simply mess up my weekly plan. For me at least it’s ;s really important to keep a routine and find new ways to be able to make these tasks easier to accomplish. Not easier, but simply make my time more efficient. Time is really important to me and I bet to all of you too. We only have 24 hours a day and they aren’t en;t enough. So, let me help you by sharing what I do to make the best out of the time we have.

I have a lot of to do’s lately. It can be homework, projects, school, Marlate, emails, phone calls, exercise, podcasts, friend time, and dates with my lover. I try to keep a balance schedule, but I am not going to lie to you it’s hard. Not every day looks the same, but I will share some tips that help me out.

Tips to finish your to do’s by multitasking

Make your walks efficient:

Go for a walk/run and listen to your daily podcasts ts. Also you can have the phone calls you need to do while walking. This not only will be your daily walk/exercise, but also you will get two or three to do’s out of your way.

Getting your hair done? Or simply doing a face mask?

If you have to write something, or send an email write it down in notes and you will have two things done in the same time.

Write down everything you have to do the night before, and divide it by most important:

By doing this you will know what is most important and then you will know how you can save time and add the to do’s.

Being social and get new ideas for whatever you are working on? Use notes.

I typically do this one a lot. I tend to just think all the time, even when being social. So, my best friend is my notes app. I write everything that comes to my mind there to not loose my thoughts.

In the morning start your to do’s or prep them:

By this I mean start them off or prep whatever you have to do later, so it is ready for you to work on it. An example is I leave the title and idea on my drafts, so then later when I have to write it, it is ready.

Set a time in the day in which I have no distractions:

I like to have 2 hours of my day to go sit down somewhere, either my school offices or a coffee shop. I get so much done by knowing that this time is for checking off the to do’s.

Constantly scrolling on social media? Find inspiration.

I tend to find myself scrolling on pinterest a lot, so instead of this time being unproductive, I find inspiration now.

Your drive has a vision and a why. Figure it out.

This led me to being passionate about my to do’s and wanting to do them, instead of feeling lazy about them. Found your why and get excited to work for your future.

Stretch while listening to a podcast or watching something:

Stretching is really important, especially after a tough day. So take this as your own time and listen to a podcast or a meditation.

Xoxo,

Mar
